I’m Toccara “Sweet” Williams: former WNBA point guard, real estate broker, entrepreneur, and leader building what’s next by seeing the play before it develops.
The game changed. My position didn’t.
I learned early that being a point guard wasn’t just about having the ball in my hands. It was about seeing the full court. Knowing when to push, when to slow things down, where the opportunity was developing, and how to put people in position to succeed. At Texas A&M and later in the WNBA, that was my job. See the floor. Make the right read. Make the people around me better.
When basketball ended, I had to learn how to see a different court. The uniform changed. The language changed. The rooms changed. But the instincts didn’t. I found myself doing in business what I had always done in basketball: connecting people, recognizing opportunities, creating structure, and figuring out the next play. What looked like a career transition became an evolution of the same person I had always been.
Today, that vision lives across real estate, business, youth basketball, leadership, speaking, and media. I’m not interested in building things just to say I built them. I care about creating something that lasts, opening doors for other people, and making the assist when I’m in position to make it. Different courts. Different assignments. Same point guard.

Sweet Rebound Inc. is my youth girls’ basketball nonprofit. It brings me back to the court with a different responsibility: using the game that helped shape me to pour into the girls coming behind me.
